Car description

This car is an original survivor car that is a rare color and has some rare options. According to the Marti Report and statistics it is a one of one car. It is a very good and original car. I planned on keeping it for myself and restoring it over time, but have decided to sell it now. It has the original engine, trans and 9 inch rear end that came in it. It still has the correct breather, snorkel, S pip, heat shield, distributor, carburetor, and radiator. Those are all very hard to find parts. The smog system that came on the car is not there. So far I replaced the heater core and hoses, Installed a new battery and fan belts as well as a new fan shroud and radiator support seal. I installed a used Holly carb that had been rebuilt so I could drive the car while the original carb. was rebuilt. The original carb is not rebuilt yet but it comes with the car. I tuned the engine up and cleaned it and the engine compartment and painted it up the best you can without removing it just to help the appearance while I was working on it. I went ahead and installed new front and rear bumpers and the tail light bezels for the same reason. I replaced the Brake Booster with an original rebuilt one as well as the master cylinder. The rear brake pads and wheel cylinders were replaced along with new front brake pads. The car runs well and drives and stops good but I have not driven it a lot. If you intend on driving the car home you need to come and drive it for yourself and make that decision on your on, It is a 40 year old car and is being sold as is. Its a very good car and runs well but has not been driven enough for me to make that judgement. I did not do anything to the underneath of the car, It is still dirty and original. It has a few pin holes in the original floors but not bad enough where I would replace them but that will be the buyers call. It has a little rust around the right rear wheel well and a few pinholes on the same lower quarter panel. The original hood was damaged in my shop before I fixed the brakes on it, so I replaced it with a used ford hood and sprayed it with black primer till I painted the car. All the lights inside and out work. The original tach and instruments all work as well as the dash lights and radio. The interior looks like it has never been out of the car. It needs the headliner replaced and there is a tear in the seam of the bench seat under the arm rest. Please call me if you are interested in this car and ask all the questions you would like about the car before bidding. I have owned, restored, and been driving 67-8 mustangs for 40 years and I will tell you the truth about everything I know about this one. If you have low feedback or transactions call before you bid. This is a good car that you can enjoy the way it is and drive it and enjoy it as a survivor or Restore it back to perfection without having to run down all the hard to find stuff. Please call before you bid with any questions you have. I have many more pictures I can email you if you need them and are a serious buyer. I require a two thousand dollar deposit within 24 hours of auction end. and the balance within 7 days after that. The car needs to be picked up within two weeks of the end of Auction unless we speak and make other arrangements. I will assist in loading the car for a shipper but the cost of shipping is the buyers responsibility. Funds have to clear and be in my hand before the car is picked up. I have a clear title in my name. There is no buy it now price. If you want to purchase the car early you will have to speak to me and make an offer. Once the car reaches the reserve I will not sell early. I will not tell you my reserve price, so don't ask. Remember call before you bid if you have any questions. Thanks Roy Grubb.
