1965 Mustang Fastback 2+2 Resto Mod
You are viewing a very nice restored Fastback upgraded providing performance, safety and reliability. Owned since 2007 with less than 1K miles driven on the car since completed. An original 6 cylinder/automatic car showing 103,000 miles.

Body/Paint: The body was in excellent condition retaining original Ford sheet metal before the build. Rear half of the quarters had some rust so were replaced with patch panel skins. The body was taken down to bare metal, primed multiple times, blocked and painted base/clear Black Cherry metallic. Wet sanded and buffed.

Interior: Primarily stock with some mods. The interior has been restored. After market Audio Sound AM/FM stereo with speaker kick panels and auto antenna. Dash mounted volt and oil pressure gauges. The interior is in really nice condition.

Running Gear: 351 Windsor bored and stroked producing 392 ci. Trick flow aluminum heads 202/160 with Edelbrock aluminum intake with a Demon 750 cfm carb. Comp roller cam with forged crank, rods with studded girdles. Ceramic coated headers and Petronix electronic ignition. Trans is a build C4 rebuilt with a shift kit, 2500 stall converter. Rear end is a Ford 9 inch with 31 spline axles. Locker posi with 350 gears. All in great working order.

Suspension: Front Rod and Custom Motorsport power rack and pinion set up. This is an aftermarket front clip kit designed for the Mustang and is welded and comes complete as a front suspension. Rear has new springs and shocks with weld in sub frame connectors.

Bright work: Some is original and some replaced. Very presentable, but showing some signs of wear in some areas.

Glass: Windshield replaced with the rest original glass.

Exhaust: Headers with cross over pipe with flow master style mufflers.

Brakes: 4 wheel power disc brakes. Front come with the kit and rears are Ford factory calipers.

Wheels/Tires: Magnum 500 wheels with BFG 195/60 15 front and 225/60 15 rear in like new condition.

Summary: Very cool FB with performance and handling upgrades. Great car to drive and enjoy.
