Appraised for $20,000 in 2005, this 1930 Briggs Body fordor Model A is about 90% original. It has five brand new whitewall tires (with new tubes and original style valves) just put on last year. The roof was professionally replaced in 2006 and has no leaks. The original body has minimal issues from age (see photos) and all spots have been stabilized. This spring I replaced the headgasket and the original motor runs perfectly. Radiator hoses and clamps have been replaced with the original type just last year. If you're looking for an original Model A that's close to factory spec, this car fits the bill! As an added plus, the rear seat has seat belts-they're out of view when not in use if you're a purist like me. I'm a history teacher that has spent my time owning the car getting it as close to 1930 as possible while enjoying drives to the beach. This car runs and stops like a charm and is a great driver that by no means has a perfect body but it draws compliments everywhere it goes. Included is a car cover, and the old spare tire which has never been driven on. Please feel free to email with questions or give a call 617-504-9212.
