Car description

Here we have a great 77 Ford LTD II Brougham with an unusual amount of options. Most of these LTD II's are very basic (not this one). This was optioned with the Brougham package, 400 ci engine with C6 trans, heavy duty suspension with rear sway bar etc., sport mirrors, bumper protection group, tinted glass, cornering lights, illuminated entry (lights key holes and interior), power locks, power windows, power drivers seat, reclining passenger seat, electric seat back releases, stereo, tilt wheel, cruise, automatic parking brake release, A/C is still R12 and will freeze you out, intermittent wipers, sport instrument package, power trunk release, light group with (map lights, door ajar, under dash, ash tray, glove box, trunks, lights on warning buzzer, etc), dual lighted vanity mirrors and more. I bought this car almost 2 years ago to play with and flip, however I have enjoyed it so much it has been my daily driver since. The entire car has been freshened up with a complete tune up, new carburetor, belts, hoses, heater core, large capacity radiator, water pump, fuel pump, alternator, upper control arm bushings. The trans was rebuild when I bought it. Vintage 15" x 8" rims and new BFG T/A radials, front wheel bearings, vinyl top, and lots of small details. The original paint is in good shape and shines real well. It is thin around a few edges on the hood and front nose. There are a few door dings and minor scratches but overall very clean looking. It runs and drives beautifully. The engine is very smooth, smogs with no problems, does not use oil or leak from anywhere and the trans shifts as it should. Still has the original exhaust. The entire car is a rust free rock solid California car. The interior is in excellent condition. Clean dash pad. The drivers seat foam has a couple of lumps at the front edge but is not noticeable and not a problem. Some sun fading on the top of the rear seat cloth. The carpet has a permanent floor mat installed on the drivers side by a prior owner. All equipment works as it should except the clock. The original trunk mat has been covered by a thin red carpet and is in near perfect condition. No goofy detailing or spray paint under the hood, all original finishes. This is a very cool tight driving car ready for a road trip with no concerns. It takes the hot weather with A/C running all day long. It will include the original rims and wire wheel hubcaps. If you do not want the rims and tires that are on the car now, I will credit $800.00 from the sale price and put the original wheels back on the car. Those tires are old and not road worthy but can be driven at lower speeds. Please contact me with any questions. Good luck!
