Car description |
---|
You are bidding on a 1974 Ford Courier. The truck runs and drives well. The odometer reads 63,177 (it only displays 5 digits). The engine was rebuilt at approximately 59k miles and runs great. The rebuild included all cylinders being bored, the head flattened, cam and crank shafts were ground. Pistons, rings, valves, valve springs, bearings, head gasket, oil pump, timing chain and clutch were all replaced. The truck has a Weber carburetor. The truck is in great shape considering its age, and is a lot of fun to drive around. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you might have about the truck. Or if you'd like a picture of something specific. Thanks for taking the time to look.
Disclaimers:
-The horn does not work.
-Windshield sprayer reservoir/unit needs to be replaced or creatively repaired. The piece that accepts the tubing broke off.-The right front side marker lens is not the original lens for the truck (see picture).
-You have to pump the gas a bit to get the engine to start andit takes a minute to warm up when it's cold.
-The paint is original with the exception of the inside of the truck bed. The previous owner repainted the inside of the truck bed. The color is very close, but not an exact match.-The dash lights (backlighting for speedometer and other gauges) goes out intermittently. I have not been able to isolate the issue.
