There a reason songs were written about the Deuce coupe, and this awesome 5-window coupe is further evidence that nothing is cooler than a '32 Ford. Equipped with a stout Chevy small block, a brilliant red paint job, and handsome ultra-leather interior, this is a slick rod that can definitely walk the walk.Obviously this handsome 5-window coupe is fiberglass, not steel, which means no actual 1932 Fords were harmed in the construction, but the end result is about ten times nicer than any original you're likely to find. With a traditional rake, big-n-little tire combination, and a lot of neat details, it sure looks like your traditional hot rod Ford. But then again, that Torch Red paint job complete with simple pinstripes, well, that looks pretty slick. Execution was first-class throughout, with laser-straight bodywork, excellent panel gaps, and an attention to detail that makes great rods stand out, although it does have about 20,000 miles on it today, so it's no longer perfect. Blue-dot 1939 Ford taillights, King Bee headlights on trick dropped mounting bars, and chrome bumpers look traditional, while details like the chrome spreader bars (the front has built-in turn signals) and small mirrors on the door are just plain cool.Inside, you'll be impressed by the appealing tan ultra-leather upholstery. That's a custom bench seat that is all-day comfortable and supportive enough for energetic maneuvers. There's a surprising amount of room in there and with all the modern conveniences, you shouldn't be afraid to run this one cross-country. The steering column is a beautiful polished tilt unit topped by a 4-spoke steering wheel, and the simple dashboard was wrapped in matching ultra-leather and filled with VDO gauges. A/C controls and vents have been cleverly integrated into the overall design and all the secondary controls have been stashed out of sight under the instrument panel. There's also a powerful AM/FM/CD stereo system in a custom aluminum consolette overhead. The nicely upholstered trunk is big enough to swallow a week's worth of luggage for two people, making this a real no-compromises rod that can be used in the real world.Wherever you're going, however, it won't take long to get there thanks to the 350 cubic inch Chevy V8 up front. Fuel injected TPI small blocks are some of the most reliable machines ever devised by man, and this one is no exception. It looks quite OEM with the familiar long-tube intake runners and finned valve covers, and a custom accessory system mounts the alternator and A/C compressor tightly to the block. A big radiator with an electric fan keeps it cool, and all the plumbing has been neatly routed to make things easy to service. The suspension is familiar, with a dropped I-beam up front and a Ford 9-inch on a 4-link with coil-overs out back. A 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission handles gear swaps and the exhaust system is by Flowmaster with turn-downs ahead of the rear axle. Beautiful 14- and 15-inch Weld Pro-Star are a great choice and wear 185/75/14 front and 235/75/15 rear Michelin radials. This awesome rod is beautifully built, nicely detailed, and shows 19,431 miles, so you know it's sorted out. Just be ready for the crowds that will surely form around it. Call today!
