Car description |
---|
Here is a 1965 Mustang I purchased several years back on ebay. It has a 6 cylinder engine and a c4 transmission.
The original color is Tropical Turquoise and it had blue and white pony interior as well as a vinyl top.
Lots of photos of the car during disassembly here :
The previous owner shaved the drip rails from the car and performed what he deemed a "restoration".
I disassembled the car and started ordering parts to fix some of the metal work. I started traveling for work soon after and the car sat in my garage for several years until 2 months ago when I started rebuilding my pickup truck. At this point I need my garage space more than I need another project.
I have title, but it is not in my name.
I have the data plate, but not a picture of it yet. I will add it to the photo album after I take it.
What you see in the pictures is what is included in the sale of the vehicle.
As stated, the previous owner did work, but it was poorly executed. This car would need a ton of metal work to make it original. It is a neat color combination though. It is originally a 4 lug car. Front and rear seats are included. New metal parts include 1 shock tower, 2 front frame rails extensions, trunk rear brace, battery apron, radio repair panel, driver front floor board.
IT has rust in the c pillar braces and holes in the front frame rails. The floors were put in over the old ones and not done well. I believe the floors could be removed and reinstalled properly though.
I am unsure of the condition of the engine and transmission. The bell housing is cracked on the c4. The engine does turn freely.
Let me know what questions you have as well as any additional photos needed.
Immediate payment required.
I can store the car for up to 3 months after the sale.
I can put the doors, fenders and hood on the car prior to pickip to make transport easier.
