Car description |
---|
This car is one of 4,500 special edition produced to celebrate the Thunderbird's 10-year anniversary. This numbers-matching car was restoredfrom the ground up over the course of a few years beginning approximately 15 years ago and has remained garage-kept ever since. Everything was restored to original on the car as a father/son project when I was a teenager. This car has the original emberglow/parchment color combination, unique only to this limited edition. Additionally, this is the first year that Ford factory installed front disc brakes and introduced sequential rear turn signals.
This car is equipped with factory A/, sporting a new compressor and equipment (though it is not currently hooked up), power windows, and apower driver seat. All front-end wiring harnesses were replaced this winter to modern wires (maintained original connectors for authenticity), along with a new heater core andnew carpet. The motor was rebuilt as part of the restoration and has approximately 10,000 miles on it. As I mentioned, it is really only used during car show season and short trips around town. This is a very rare car that gets A LOT of attention. Very fun to drive and has always been dependable.
This is a great car and has been my baby for the past 15 years. With a growing family, she needs a home with someone who will be able to get her out more than I can. This car is meant to be driven and enjoyed. Please feel free to reach out with any questions that you may have about the car.
Happy bidding!
