Let me start by saying that this car is as close to the word PERFECT as you can get.......
It belongs to Jack, my oldest friend who is an accomplished car builder.. (he's 79 and it's time to sell)
Real 1968 Ford Ranchero GT (1st yr of the 2 yr run of the Fairlane style).. factory A/C/ P/S P/B & P/W
The car was completely disassembled and parts were replaced with N.O.S or Southwest sourced no rust used
Body mods include perfect gaps, door handle and rain gutter removal (remote & emergency manual openers)
Perfect red pearl PPG paint and factory gold stripes buried by a perfect polished urathane clear coat
The 390 motor was rebuilt by a highly sought after FORD pro engine builder and 415 hp (Dyno sheet inc)
DSS forged pistons, blueprinted valve job with 2.09 & 1.66 valves and bronze guides with porting
Rotating assembly balanced with flywheel and pressure plate.. roller timing chain..
Comp Cams camshaft with lifters, springs, billet rocker stands, manley pushrods and adjustable rockers
Edelbrock Performer RPM manifold, Holly 770 carb, MSD 6A digital box and Blaster coil..
ProComp billet distibutor, Hi-volume oil pump Moroso pan & windage tray, A-1 waterpump & CVF pulleys
Centerforce clutch, PowerMaster starter, Walbro electric fuel pump, Aeromotive adj. fuel regulator
4"Cold air intake with 7" cone filters (2).. Hooker long tube headers, mandrel pipes and Magnaflow exhaust
4 speed top loader 100% rebuilt (shifts like butter), Hurst Shifter,
18" flex fan, Hi-Flow radiator, shroud, electric pusher.. runs 180* in all weather
Mcleod hyd. clutch (complete from throw-out to pedal).. Borgeson "quick steer" power steering box & joints
Front end and sway bars new with lowered springs.. New H.P. front discs and rear drums..2" low blocks rear
Driveshaft and u-joints rebuilt with competition parts..
U.S. Mags XXR 18x9 front and 18x10.5 rear wheels with Yokohama "pro series" tires are also new
Hartz cloth custom Tonneau cover with red stitching as are leather seats with 5 point seat belts and rugs
AutoMeter gauges added to argument stock units....................................................................................
