Car description |

This all original 1967 Ford Fairlane 500 -- Two door hardtop is one of the nicest cars that is mostly all original and ready to drive. Previous owner had for 10 years and maybe drove her 1,000 miles. She has excellent bones and is ready for a new owner. The list of upgrades is lengthy: new carpet, new paint 6 years ago, power steering, new tires, new wheels, new exhaust, etc. We drive all cars that come in for consignment, and we love the way she handles with the power steering. There's 82,34...9 original miles on her, with no end in sight. The transmission shifts nicely but has a very small leak that looks to be coming from the pan gasket area. This is not a leak to would be concerned about. We have tightened the bolts and that seems to have stopped it. The engine doesn't leak at all, nor anything else for that matter.
For someone looking for a great daily driver, this is it, all natural!. For someone looking to beef it up (I would!) Drop a 351 Windsor, with a Muncie 4 speed transmission, this is ready for it. 2'' drop spindles in front with coil-over shocks and air shocks in the back. Drop the rear end and install posi-traction with 383 gears, give or take. The rake on this will give it a perfect look, and perfect handling. Either way, this is a no rust, all original 500 and is ready to go anywhere, turnkey.
We are asking $16,500
