Car description |
---|
There is no evidence that anything has been taken out of the engine, but it obviously does not run and will probably have to be towed on a trailer. The upholstery is in very poor condition and I don't know what color it is, but the bench seat is there, as is everything inside as nobody could get inside if they wanted to. The dash board is weathered and cracked and in poor condition from the sun & heat. The glass all looks pretty good, and I didn't notice any significant cracks. We cannot open the doors because of the trees growing against them, to reach inside to the hood release so I could not make pictures of the interior, nor of the engine, but the engine and its other parts should all be there. My dad was a mechanic and took care of it until he got too old in the early 1990s. I'm sure it needs a lot of work due to sitting for a long time, but it has not been significantly vandalized. My dad passed away 10 years ago, and I have a Court Order saying that the truck now belongs to me, and I have the title that I will sign over to the buyer. I don't have the keys handy and am not sure where they are, but I used to have them and will make my very best effort to have them, but I absolutely cannot promise keys at the time of this writing. If I find them after the buyer takes ownership, I promise to mail them at my own expense. I'm not sure it has either left or right rear view mirrors. My house which is very close to where the truck is parked has no running water, so the buyer should bring lots of water, not only to drink, but possibly to wash off, and bring a wench and a trailer. The house does have electricity, but an extension cord would be required to use an electric air compressor to air up the tires, or perhaps buyer should bring extra wheels. The buyer may want to wash off as I have seen poison ivy around the truck, but have not contracted it as I always wear pants and boots....but if I had to hook up chains to the frame, I'd sure want to rinse my hands and arms when I was finished.
I do not know the condition of the truck's bed, but it is likely rusted through in places as it is full of dirt, leaves and lots of junk, but I honestly do not know. It could be better than I think as I don't believe it is touching the ground. It was good when it was parked, but that was a very long time ago.
I am available to any answer your questions as best I can via email.
