Up for auction is this Fast and fun little truck. It is Titled, Registered, inspected, and insured as a 1929 Ford .
The body of this truck is Steel and very straigh, covered in base clear coat white very smooth paint with the fenders done in gloss blackIt is powered by a crate 383 stroker small block chevy complete with edelbrock package. it has good oil pressure, no smok, leaks, rattles or weird noises. it starts right up and has a nice lope to it!!
Behind that is the tried and true TH350 transmission that shifts firm and stout and will bark the tires in gear changes and spin the rear tires as long as you choose to!!
It also sports an aluminum Radiator that keeps everything in order, it will not get above 195 in the Texas Summer heat!even idling in traffic.
The frame is custom fabricated 2"x3" rectangular with tubular cross members and fitted with drop front axle with disc brakes in front and a ford 8" in rear with drum brakes and both suspended with transverse mounted leaf springs.
This little truck rolls on Coker classic wide whites with steel wheels trimmed with chrome rings and Ford baby moon caps. that have very good balance while hammering down the highway
Interior is black leather appearing and has a dash packed with Speedometer, oil pressure, coolant temp, volt meter, and fuel gauges, and tach on column, as well as a power port for your charging needs. It is well insulated from any heat from engine compartment which adds to the pleasure of driving this beast on extended highway trips.
The top is removable and of course, so is the hood. The front windshield tilts out at the bottom and really adds quite a breeze .
all in all it is a quality recent build with mostly new parts and not a throw together RatRod. you can feel comfortable driving this car knowing it was a well thought out plan and i would have no problem driving it every day, its that dependable .It drives straight as an arrow, steers easily and brakes very well.
Now this vehicle is being sold with no warrant, as is, and driving this thing is at your own risk!IT IS EXTREMELY FAST and should not be a child's first car.
If this is something you are interested in by all means bid!!.
If you have questions, please ask before you bid!!
Although i know very little about early Fords, i will do my best to answer questions and if there are specific pictures that you need, please, please dont wait till 10 min. till auction end to request them.
This vehicle is at my residence in Marion Texas and i encourage you to come by and see it/drive it for yourself. and third party inspections are welcomed.
