Car description |

Up for sale is my very rare first year of production 1959 F250 4x4. It has 4 speed on the floor. The wheels are a one of a kind Custom made Weld Wheels. The truck has an older restoration and makes for a great driver condition. I'm going to guess that the motor is a 292 and never confirm if it is the original. I have the original bill of sales and it goes like this. The truck was bought for $2400 {MSRP was $1600 to $1800} from James Campbell in Oak Grove Missouri, the dealership installed the 4 wheel drive and off went the truck to Edna Kansas. Obviously since Ford announced 4x4 were available but not all F250 came from the factory the first year with that option, yet. So dealers installed those for the customers at their request. Overall the truck is in great shape considering what farmer's bought these truck for! To use!
The bed has been overlaid with plate steel and has bed liner spray applied. Looking underneath you can still see the original bed floor. It has a full floating rear end assy which is standard on 1/2 ton pickup for that era. At sometime someone put a non working OEM mechanical tach in the dash. These were made for larger Fords of that era and require a mechanical tach drive distributor which is like finding a dinosaur egg;} But looks cool!.
So if your looking for something rare here it is. I own several vehicles and will be posting 1960 restored Elky,1962 Willy wagon,1959 4x4 Chevy 3600, 1971 ford Ranchero,1977 XLCR Harley D,,all restored. I'm getting too old and have too many toyz! When you own a 2 new mustangs with combined 1900 Horses,,,,Why crawl when you can Fly;}
The truck is for sale locally and reserve the right to cancel/remove/end at anytime before or after auction.
