Rare Find- 1932 Ford Station Wagon (Woodie) - In 1932 Ford produced only 1400 of these woody wagons to serve businesses in transporting goods and people. and the wealthy. for their summer estates. 1932 is a unique year as Ford was trying new approaches to his assembly line. It shares nothing with the previous Model A Ford or its 1933 successor. This car has been in Connecticut since the early 50s and most likely all its life. A true survivor. the wagon has been cared for to celebrate #83 birthday. It has not been restored and is lathered in patina. It was brush painted in the 50s over the factory brown color. The fenders have some dents. but never rusted out. The chassis is also rock solid due to good storage and retains its mechanical brake system. I have paperwork stating that the Model B 4 cylinder engine was rebuilt in 1985 with low miles put on since that time. I do not have any other seats for it. just what you see. The front seat covering is well worn original. The car gets a lot of attention out on the road or parked at a cruise. The "barn find" look really draws people in. especially those that never saw a woodie. There are only a handful of these registered with the National Woodie Club and they do not come up for sale very often. Like a piece of fine antique furniture. it becomes one of the family. Car now has whitewall tires since these photos. Please call for any questions. I will not be answering emails or texts. (860) 913-4680
