This project is located in Falfurrias, Tx. 78355. About 140 miles south of San Antonio and 110 miles north of McAllen on Hwy 281.Titled as a 1930 Model A. Classic plates expired. Speedway type tube dropped axle with disk brakes. Bronco rear with drum brakes. 1967 307 sbc out of a pu. Motor was not rebuilt. Has a slight cam, 350 trans. Has windshield, but no glass in doors or rear panel. Regulators are present. It has blinkers and stop lights, but no wipers. Bucket seats are of unknown origin. No bondo on it just welded panels and will need finish body work.
I hadn't started up this pu in about amonth. It started right up, but I heard a noise I hadn't heard before. Like the oil was drained and a little bit of clatter. Noise quit and I drove it a couple of miles and it run ok. This pu is going to need some work. Runs and stops fine. Has some minor play in the steering, maybe the Vega box needs attention? The brake pedal needs adjustment (cut and weld) and it is sticking a little, doesn't return all the way up unless I pull it up with my foot. No wiper motor. Most Chevy 350 transmissions leak after sitting a while and this one sat for 3 years. Trans has a minor leak and it appears to be the rear seal. Will need finishing body work, no rust or bondo on it, all patching done. Glass fenders front and rear.Has clear title in my name as a '30 Ford PU. Don't know what else to tell you as far as describing it.
Pictures tell the story and I'm selling this PU as is. No warranty or guarantee is given. Sold as is. After all, this is a hotrod.....It's a good start for someone to finish into a high price rod.
