Car description

I am selling this car for a relative who bought the car over 30 years ago. It has been AACA member owned and kept for shows for most of it's life, in fact it was purchased from another AACA member at least that many years ago. It has been garage kept all it's life and has not seen rain or snow since almost the beginning. Most of the car is wearing it's original Ford applied white paint. It had been spotted below the quarter moldings to repair minor rust at one point, and is showing some minor bubbles in these places again. There is one spot on the right side in front of the rear wheel, and another small one behind the rear wheel on the drivers side. These spots are really small and very minor and I have shown a picture of them. Paint does have a few scratches and touch ups but considering the age is very very nice. Floors and frame are very nice with no rot or holes. Trunk is solid and still has it's original trunk mat with no rust underneath.Top is the original, check out the date on the rear window of August 1962. Top is not ripped but shows some age as the webbing on the side is cracked. It's just very old. The interior is very nice and not faded. It is also the original and has never been replaced. Drivers seat does have a few very small stress cracks but is very nice considering the age. Has the desireable bucket seats with a very clean and nice chrome console. The chrome bumpers have some age but are very nice, and the stainless and bright mouldings are excellent. The car has a C.B Radio. This is the wire you see in the interior and the antenna you see on the rear. Holes were never drilled for these items. The antenna is a magnet mount with cloth underneath so as not to scratch, and the C.B. was in a removable console and never fastened to the interior. These were for use during AACA tours. These will be removed and no damage from them will show.
The 390 engine starts well and runs and drives strong. The Auto trans shifts good, and this car is roadworthy and has been driven a few miles every so often to keep it in good shape. Drives straight and brakes while old technology stop well. Tires have been upgraded to modern radials. Mileage showing as 30K on the speedometer and you might believe it. Being honest, since the gentleman that bought it is deceased, and it is now owned by the widow, she don't remember for sure but she thinks it is 130K. It sure doesn't look it but I wouldn't want to guarantee either way. If you like original survivor style cars you would be hard pressed to find one in better shape. There are some, but they probably going to cost you a lot more.Any questions or to see the car, call Jeff at 610-562-3626 10AM-10PM Eastern. Please don't waste my time and yours unless you are serious. But if you are we will be glad to talk to you. Lowball offers and trades will be promptly rejected. You will get to meet and talk to the owner should you make an appointment to come see it. In the meantime I will do my best to answer any questions you may have.Thanks.
