Car description

1966 Mustang Convertible, Nightmist Blue, 289 V8, 3 Speed stick shift. Stored in garage for 23 years!
Very original car with original engine and drive train. Still has it's original license plate too.
Has original door data tag, under hood buck tag, engine data tag, and factory assembly line Build Sheet!
Just completed beautiful, concourse quality, engine compartment and engine detailing, new upholstery, and much more.
Runs perfect and has plenty of power.
Ready to cruise with the top down for summer.
Tons of new parts including, fuel tank with sending unit, fuel pump, carb rebuild, clutch, pedal support and bushings, clutch equalizer bar bushings and clutch rod bushings. valve seals, double row roller timing chain, all new freeze plugs, water pump, thermostat, radiator and cap, radiator and heater hoses, alternator, air cleaner, spark plugs and wires, PCV valve, flywheel ring gear, starter drive gear, battery tray, battery cables, brake shoes and hardware, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, front and rear bumpers, tail light bezels, "Mustang" badges, hood letters, front shocks, arm rest pads and chrome bases, instrument cluster bezel, shifter handle bushings, shifter rubber boot and chrome trim, steering wheel and chrome horn ring, glove box, heater plenum, and more.
The speedometer reads 41769 miles but I will assume it has rolled over although it may be the actual total.
The convertible top material is worn out and needs replacing but the car is ready to cruse with the top down as-is.
The car was stored in a garage for many years avoiding the heavy east coast rust.
The car does have some of the most common beginning rust in the low spots of the floor pans and torque box, but drives fine as-is.
The car had one repaint some time ago and it polished up pretty nicely. There are some minor body repairs and filler in a few spots on the car but the car looks surprisingly well as you can see in the pictures.
