Car description |
---|
1929 Ford Rumble seat Roadster. Full Fendered with 32 Ford grill. Original sheet metal except for front fenders. Independent front suspension with rack and pinion steering. GM rear end with open drive shaft. Split wishbone rear suspension with traditional model A rear spring and knee action shocks all around. Heavily beefed and boxed Model A frame. 1996 GM Crate 350 ZZ3 with roller cam and rockers, aluminum heads and four down draft Weber carbs. Recently rebuilt and beefed up turbo 350 transmission with shift kit. Hydraulic drum brakes. Car has functioning turning signals. Radiator is a four core Walker with manual electric fan, consistently runs cool. Coated headers on engine. The wheels are 15 inch Dayton wires with big and little tires. Complete gauges with steering column mounted tach surrounded by custom wood dash. There is a top hood which is not shown. Very nice tan upholstery in cab area and rumble seat.
Car originally built in 1979 and Crate engine replaced earlier small block chevy in 1996. The car is an older build as well as the paint but looks very nice and is consistently a head turner. Car makes about 425 horsepower and is very quick. Car handles, rides and drives very nicely.
I'm selling because I don't drive it enough due to my business travel. New buyer will be very impressed with the reliability, handling and performance. Can help with shipping within 350 miles. Local mechanic can attest to the condition of the car.
