Car description |
---|
The stock engine and auto transmission were replaced with a 1989 Ford 302 and C6 automatic overdrive transmission. Transmission has just been serviced. Engine has an Edlebrock aluminum manifold and Edlebrock 4 barrel carburetor. Original 1958 air cleaner, aftermarket valve covers.
All new last year coil springs up front and leaf springs from Eaton Spring in Detroit. Recent ball joints. Recent rotors, calipers, pads and bearings. Recent rear brake rebuild. Gas tank done about 3 years ago by previous owner. Aftermarket 14 inch Ford GT chrome steel wheels and Goodrich Radial TA tires with very little use. Trailer hitch with trailer electrical connector. Attention paid to many little details also.
Interior upholstery, door panels and carpet are about 5 years old, done by a previous owner. Rear cargo area repainted and upgraded. Headliner needs replacement, is the original hardboard type. New seat belts.
Body has all original trim, original 2 tone red and white paint with some shine and great patina. A floor panel in rear passenger floor has been replaced, spare tire well has had rust treated and sealed surface applied. There are a few small rust areas on lower body.
This car is from dry Colorado originally, as told to me from the previous owner. It is garaged when not out driving. It is a great driver, equally happy on the highway or on local roads. Clear Massachusetts Title with no liens, Current registration.
