Car description

This Model T truck came from a wheat farm close to the Canadian Border North of Havre Montana and spent its life hauling heavy loads of wheat in it's day. When I came by the truck it had an early Chevrolet motor under the hood which had to have made it a very powerful machine over the Model T Ford power plant and the planetary transmission. The frame does have extra holes in it from the modification to accommodate the Chevrolet motor and a repaired crack in the frame from the heavy loads the truck hauled. After rebuilding the truck my Father and I used it as a water truck hauling water for our 1913 J. I. Case Traction Steam Engine in Parades and threshing Bee's.
The truck had sat out in the weather for many years and the original oak body was pretty well fallen apart. In around 1961 when I got the truck I gathered up all the pieces of wood and on getting the truck into Havre I had a cabinet maker duplicate the badly deteriorated oak pieces, and I worked over salvageable pieces the best I could to preserve what I could from the trucks past, adding doors in more recent years. When putting the truck back together I used the metal parts from what was there on site, other than replacing the motor. The windshield does not have safety glass and the cabs rear window does have the original glass in it, and the trucks head lights don't work. No coil box lid.
Conditions of this sale are as is where is with no guarantee's, Buyer responsible for all shipping costs and arrangements. Would highly recommend a perspectivebuyer personally check the vehicle out before buying.
The truck has a Rocky Mountain inline transmission. Plus I purchased over eBay an extra Rocky Mountain Transmission, drive line and rear end less the wheels that would go with the truck. This truck was not professionally restored but still makes one great eye catcher on the streets, and few are around with the oak cab.
Please only questions from interested perspective buyers, and these I will do my best to answer questions and send more pictures. Once in a while I am out of reach for a few days so if I seem a little slow at responding to questions I will get back to you as soon as I'm available.
Thank you for looking at my listing
