Up for auction. 1976 Mercury Bobcat Villager MPG . Good daily driver. it has the MPG package which had the higher gear ratio rear end. it cruises good on the highway. Everything on the car works it has power steering and air conditioning. I recently replaced the AC compressor. new plugs. wires. oil change. flushed the cooling system. rebuilt the carburetor. changed out the timing belt and water pump. Starts. runs and drives well. The interior is not too bad. a couple of dash cracks and the carpet is worn out under the driver's mat. other than that not too bad. The headliner is intact. seats are in good shape. and the seat belts all work. It has the original paint and wood grain siding. roof luggage rack. and 4 spoke sport rims. Not much else to say. you don't see Bobcats anymore. Mercury only built 1 Bobcat to every 10 Ford Pintos produced. so the unique nature of the car makes it fun to drive and a good conversion piece for someone who is looking for something different. ********* NOTE:*********This Bobcat does not have the smog equipment on it to currently to pass a California smog test. I will split the shipping cost with an out of state buyer if you want the car delivered to you. Currently from California to the East Coast. the shipping is roughly $950. Good Luck. happy bidding.
