Car description

1967 Ford F-100 302 2bbl automatic w/ dual exhaust, power steering and brakes.

I purchased this truck 5 years ago via EBAY from a gentleman in West Virginia who restored this truck, and stated it was originally from Texas. Except for a small repair in the drivers' floor (see picture), there were no rust repair issues when I purchased it, and there are none now.

The following was done at the restoration according to the previous owner:

All brake springs, hoses and associated power drum brake parts were replaced, as well as front end parts (king pins, tie rod ends, bushings, etc). The bed was sprayed with Rhino-lining.

The 302 was rebuilt and a rebuilt transmission was installed. Radiator was replaced. Seat was redone, firewall pad and mats were replaced, as were nearly all rubber/sweeps, except the quarter window rubber.Door weatherstrips are soft and pliable, and the doors close like they should. Heater core and blower motor were replaced, as were all the switches.

The windshield was replaced. The rest of the glass is original, and new rubber gaskets were installed for front and back glass. New chrome rims and Hankook tires were fitted.

All lights, gauges and horn work, but the speaker in the dash is shot, so I never use the stereo. The heater controls work, as does the defroster. The signal stalk is firm, and cancels properly. The steering wheel is original with cracks at the hub. The dashpad is cracked at the speaker grill (see picture), and the seat has two holes from having a screwdriver in the rear pants pocket.

The chrome rims are in very good condition with pitting on one rim, and the Hankook tires have plenty of tread. The tailgate operates like new. I re-sprayed the tailgate with Rhino-liner because it had peeled where it meets the paint.

The steel rear bumper is aftermarket. I have receipts totaling $3410 plus for the motor, tires, and rhino-liner from the previous owner that go with the truck. My receipt for the front end conversion totaling over $2800 is also available.

The truck drives and brakes as it should, and power steering also behaves as it should. It starts every time, and has never overheated on me. The exhaust system is older and shows rust, and one muffler has a small perforation.

I converted to front disc brakes last year with front suspension/brake parts from a 1979 Ford so parts are easy to get. I also rebuilt the transmission last November and can provide the receipt from the local shop that did it.
