Car description |
---|
1926-1927 Ford roadster project. Fuel injected 350 and 700R4 auto, both from a low mileage Corvette. Engine has been gone through (new bearings, rings, and gaskets). 9 inch rear-end. New Vega steering box and new tilt steering column. Wide Mickey Thompson tires and aluminum rims pictured in the first four pictures are not included, they are sold. Fiberglass body with functioning doors and deck lid. Lots of work was spent reinforcing the body. Has 1932 dash. Professionally made 2" x 4" box frame with frame horns. Nothing like those cheap 2" x 3" frames from Speedway Motors. Chassis has been finished and the frame has been professionally painted.
Lot's of new parts are included. Very little left to buy for it. The only things that I can think of is the wiring and the seat/interior. Most of the work is done. The brake lines and exhaust have been fitted, only the final assembly is required. New aluminum driveshaft is ready to be installed. New Lokar shifter, linkage, and emergency brake cables are ready to be installed. Sand and paint your favorite color (I was going with flat black). LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of new parts. I know money spent does not translate into worth, but I have a spreadsheet totaling over $13000 in parts alone. I only say this so you know you are not buying junk. This was not going to be a cheaply built car. Only selling because it was not getting finished so we bought a finished car.
Has current Iowa title. Is it titled as a 1926 Ford. I will work with your shipped but you have to make all of the arrangements. $500 deposit with 48 hours. Paypal accepted for deposit ONLY, not for the remaining balance.
