Car description

  • This is my 1968 Ford Torino GT, 390 (S code) with C6 automatic. Has power steering, power disc brakes, before I owned the car someone added the 69 hood scoop complete with turn indicators. Ford called the color Meadowlark Yellow with a black vinyl top, these are the correct colors for the car. It has been repainted at some time and shows very well. According to the Marti Report this is the only formal roof 68 Torino GT ordered with a factory tach. The gears have been changed to what I believe are 3:56 gears, the original 3:25 gears come with the car. It is a blast to drive around town but on the highway it is singing pretty good. Everything works as it should including the AM radio and the clock. It runs and shifts fantastically, it drives super nice, has no tendency to overheat even in heavy traffic. The only trades I would consider are a 1961 Ford Starliner, 1963 to 1965 Falcon sprint or a 1962 or 1963 Ford Galaxie XL or Mercury equivalent, there is nothing else I want.
