Car description

1956 Ford Sunliner Convertible Custom car project. One of my clients purchased this car with the intention to build a radical custom 56 Sunliner. Our idea was to use Detroit Speed and Engineering front and rear suspension on it. We have done this conversion on a 57 Chevrolet already. It works great!!!!! So we purchased the car without any suspension just a 56 frame that was blasted and sealed-ready for fab work. No suspension is included with this sale. We can make the car roll for the winning bidder so it can be transported. If the winning bidder would like us to do this or any other suspension work we are happy to help for additional monies. We can get as involved in a car as you would like or purchase as is.
My client has decided to purchase another car from us so we took this project in trade for his new ride.
It is an extremely solid start, the car has excellent metal structure-the worst part of the car is the firewall and foot boxes-see pictures but as far as old convertibles go this one is an excellent starting point.
I own a shop so we can do any work that someone might want or you can buy as is. Auction is to purchase as is, it is No reserve so if you bid you have a real chance to own this one.
Really solid real 1956 Ford Sunliners are getting harder and harder to find. This is not a 55. We have most of the trim, the convertible top frame parts are there, we have an extra dash, extra firewall-cowl area.
Please feel free to call or text 813-789-6179 to ask any questions.
Also Pictured is a low mileage 2008 Shelby 32 Valve 4 cam supercharged engine--the plan was to use this engine with the project-it is available for purchase separately from this auction. Looking for $6500 for this engine from the winning bidder if they want it. It is advertised for $6900.
The car will not leave until the seller has clear and available funds in his account. Shipping is buyer's responsibility.
