Car description

GET READY FOR SUMMER

For sale is a 1965 RED Mustang convertible, A Code, 4 sped car. This car is what is known as a survivor, it is a correct 1965 Mustang. This is NOT a car that started life as a 6 cylinder or green or some other condition, this car was manufactured with an A Code, 289 (4v) V*, 4 speed Ford top loader transmission, 3.0 read end, red pony interior and Ragoon red paint. The odometer reads 32,500 miles and we have a bill of sale from 1994 indicating the mileage at 5899. In 1991 the car was purchased from a private collection in Wisconsin by the owner's nephew who rebuilt the motor, did some minor body work and had the car repainted it's original Ragoon Red. In 1994 it was sold to a Florida resident who owned the car for 23 years. During that time, the car was driven very little, mostly to shows and parades. With the exception of the torque boxes, the car shows very little rust. It has a new top complete with (2) newtop motors, new brake shoes, new Hurst shifter, new clutch linkage and Z bar, rear pinion seal and the ignition has been updated to Pertornix electronic ignition replacing the original points. The car shows very nicely, there are a few chips in the paint( to be expected of a 50+ year old car ) a small tear in the driver's seat. It has an AM/FM radio ( we have the original 1965 radio ) and original convertible top boot. It also comes with a car cover. The car starts quick, runs well, tracks straight and overall is a solid car.
