SEE IT & HEAR IT on YouTube: Go to the YouTube site to see and hear this cool '54 by searching: 1954 Ford Crestline Victoria on eBay 6-1-2017

The brief video will show the car being parked and let you hear the restored V8 (not as quiet as the 2017 Ford V8s! Remember too, that there was little to no hood sound-proofing in '54)

BACKGROUND: This 1954 Crestliner Victoria is the next best thing to time travel! Ford one-upped its "Big Three" competition dramatically with their iconic re-style in 1952...and by 1954 it was better than ever with Chevrolet and Plymouth still struggling to catch up!

This particular car was built in Atlanta and is rumored to have been in an Elvis movie - though we have no documentation to support this.

  • A GREAT "DRIVER" CLASS CAR: Driving down the road, many would think that it's 1954 when this flashy Victoria drives by. It is a very nice car. There has been extensive re-chroming of the bright-work on both the front and back end. Great effort has been made to ensure that the car is fun to drive. In fact, significant investment also has been made to seal leaks. During the photo session, NO leaks were found. However, it is highly unusual for a 63-year old car not to leak - and we cannot guarantee that it will not leak again, but so far, it has been remarkably fluid tight.

Finally, we have started the listing with a set of images to give an overall view of the car. Next, are 7 other image sections that show the following areas in great detail...

  • Engine Compartment
  • Exterior Walk-around
  • Interior Detail
  • Tires ...very old and should not be relied upon (see below)
  • Trunk
  • Imperfections...it's a fine car, but not without flaws (see below)
  • Undercarriage

IMPORTANT...Please pay particular attention to the "Tires" and "Imperfections" image sections. The tires are wide-whitewall SEARS tires. It may have been decades since SEARS sold these tires! Replacement is highly recommended. The SEARS tires should not be relied upon due to their age and unpredictability. Also, the "Imperfections" section shows all types of flaws that are common to 63-year-old cars and that place this car in the "driver" rather than in the "national show" class. We showed significant flaws as we saw them...but similar/other additional flaws may be found by the new owner as well.

LOCATION: Chamblee, GA is located approximately 13-miles northeast of Atlanta.

EXCELLENT INVESTMENT - the best cars of the 1950s have been "Blue Chip" investments for decades, and will continue to be. The 1954 Crestline Victoria was a trendsetter that outclassed its competition by a wide margin and contributed to Ford's enormous growth and success during the 1950s/1960s.

THE FIRST 14 PICTURES will give you a general overview of the Crestline Victoria, but if you are seriously interested...we suggest that you look at ALL 150+ images because we want you to see EVERYTHING.

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING...TO SEE ALL THE IMAGES: There are over 150 images that will show the car in great detail. BUT, to see ALL of the images, you MUST place your cursor DIRECTLY ON an image...and then scroll gently ALL the way to the bottom (be sure to allow time for all the images to load). CAUTION: If you use the scroll bar to the FAR right of your screen - OR, the "Click to View Image Album" feature - you will NOT be able to see all the images!
Over 2,800 TRANSACTIONS WITH HAPPY PEOPLE! As of the date of this listing, we've had over 2,800 transactions (both Buying and Selling) on eBay without a single complaint. One of the keys to our success is to show larger and more images than almost any other eBay listing...so you can clearly see what you are getting. We also give a very detailed description of the car...not just a couple sentences like many listings.
QUESTIONS?...after reviewing ALL the images and reading the entire description, please call Jim Murphy if you have any questions: 706-429-7924

OPERATIONAL REPORT: The car is a joy to drive - the restored engine performs well. All exterior lights are operational, as are the Ford-crest interior courtesy lamps. Gauges, Horn and Windshield wipers also work...as does the blower (though it was a bit noisy). Opening the hood requires a bit of care - you must gently guide the hood towards you a bit - and then lift. In other words, the hinges seem a bit quirky. The radio is of the modern "retro" AM-FM type and sounds good (the original radio is included and is shown at left in the trunk).

ODOMETER NOTE...the 78,442 mileage indicated is believed to be original - given the impressive "survivor" condition of the car - but cannot be verified or guaranteed due to the design limitations of the odometer.

PAYMENT DETAILS: Payment is due within 2- business days of auction's end via Bank to Bank wire transfer.

INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS are welcome, but MUST adhere to the SAME Payment Terms detailed above and also make all arrangements for the pick-up and importation of the Vehicle into the Buyer's country.
ABOUT ME: I am an avid Classic Car enthusiast. After retiring from 30 years of Sales & Marketing in a Global 100 company, I began buying and selling Classic Cars and Collectibles as a collector and for friends and clients. This 1954 Ford belongs to a fellow classic car enthusiast.
Please Note: as of this date, we have had over 2,800 eBay transactions with 100% Positive Feedback...this includes the sale of many Classic Cars to Buyers all over the world, including Great Britain, Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, France, Australia, Russia, Canada, Japan and throughout the United States.
IMPORTANT DOCUMENT REMARKS: A Notarized Bill of Sale and the Vehicle Registration will be provided to the Buyer. NOTE: the State of Georgia did not issue auto titles back in 1954 - and so they do not do so for those cars even today! Instead, the registration card has a "Non-Title" notation and also serves as the owners legal proof of ownership. Rest assured that every state must respect all other state's motor vehicle laws, and that the car can be successfully registered and insured in any state.

This Vehicle is sold strictly as-shown and on a final as-is basis without any warranties expressed or implied due to age. Even the very best restored classics - such as this one - will require additional maintenance and service - often without warning. We have presented the car accurately to the best of our ability, but oversights are possible. Therefore - before the auction's end - bidders are welcome to examine the vehicle in person. All sales are final.

IMPORTANT REGISTRATION DOCUMENT NOTE: as this listing was finalized, we noted a typographical error on the Georgia Registration document - the VIN should begin with a "U", but the Registration shows a "V". We are in the process of correcting this and hope to have the corrected registration completed by the sale date - but additional time may be needed depending upon Georgia DMV response time.

Please be sure to review ALL the images, ALL the captions, and the YouTube Video (search on YouTube: 1954 Ford Crestline Victoria on eBay 6-1-2017) because they relate important information too!
