1964 FORD F-100 Short-bed Custom Pickup
Great condition.
Presented for your bidding consideration is a rare, very nice, 53-year old, mostly original, 1964 Ford F-100 Pickup . . .
This is the much sought after short-bed Custom model.
Low, low, low miles and she is clean, clean, clean.
With just 38,263 miles so far, this truck presents as an unspoiled, nice-running truck that was not abused and has always been well-maintained.
The 292 cu.in. Y-block V8 provides plenty of power and she shifts smoothly with her 3-speed column-mounted shifter. She fires right up hot or cold and idles nice.
She’s got a clean, sweet body both on top and underneath. Her trim is bright and her stance perfect. The black paint is real nice and her chrome shines beautiful.
She turns heads and draws a lot of attention.
NADA’s low retail = $8,650 for a poor truck; $17,600 for an average truck; and $39,100 for a perfect truck. The value of this truck is $27,850, but my reserve is ridiculously much, much lower. The winning bidder will walk away with an absolute bargain.
I just had a new steering gearbox installed and she drives real nice. Here’s a list of some of the new stuff:
- · Exhaust
- · Brakes
- · Fuel pump
- · Steering gearbox and shaft
- · Ignition switch
- · Window felts
- · Door seals
- · Fitted carpet
- · Wiper blades
- · Needs new door locks installed (new parts included)
- · Needs new horn actuator parts installed (new parts included)
Also included is an Operators Manual and an original sales brochure
Here’s an interesting item: The Crown Vic chassis and running gear fits right under the F-100 cab and bed. If you want to hot rod the truck, see:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xX1mjS7Gjys from Hot Rod Garage.
It may be impossible to find an unmolested 1964 F-100 in such great condition.
The comfy interior upholstery is very nice, although there is a tear in the seat on the driver’s side. The rest of the bench seat is nice. The interior has no smoke or musty odors.
She’s in wonderful condition for her age and is a fun driver. Take it to car shows and make other guys with trucks feel bad about themselves. Whether you go for a cruise to the drive-in for a burger or go for a drive in the country, you’ll get lots of thumbs-up wherever this classic truck takes you. You can’t help but smile when you’re driving this sweet old Ford.
I am holding a clear, lien-free, 1964 Ford Pickup title in my name.

Don’t let this one slip away.
