Car handles like a sports car and loves to be driven. In a previous life in in Canada it was taken on cruises to Columbus, Syracuse, Willy's Home Run at Lancaster and most of southern Ontario. GoodGuys, Canats award winner. Car has been to several 600 plus car events where it was the only Prefect there.

Car was customized, re-framed and new driveline installed in Canada in 2000 and was sold and moved to US in 2012. After refresh of body work, paint, new soft-top, and minor mechanical work in 2015, owners drove this Prefect on a road-trip to relocate it from Kansas City to Punta Gorda, FL (about 1500 miles); FUN and lots of attention all along the way! As previous owner said the car "loves to be driven"! And, this car likes to be shown: So far in US it has been in a number of shows and exhibitions where it has been the only English Ford Prefect in any of the events, and the people love it! (If you do not want to be noticed, do not buy this car!)

Twice accepted to the Annual Edison Ford Antique Car Exhibition for all Ford manufactured cars built no later than 1980. (Ft. Myers, Florida, 2016 and 2017)

Third Place Peoples' Choice Award at the 14th Annual Edison Ford Antique Car Exhibition; only three awards (Peoples' Choices) are given for the entire show, no class awards are given. About 200 vehicles were exhibited. (Ft. Myers, Florida, February 2017)

Best In Class Award and overall Peoples' Choice Award at Hagerty Show and Shine at the Sebring International Raceway, SVCA Race Weekend. (Sebring, Florida, March 2017)

Accepted to participate in Cars and Coffee Exhibition at the 22nd Annual Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance, in Amelia Island, Florida. Only Prefect in the exhibition of more than 400 cars. (March 2017)

The Prefect is driven to participate in antique and collectible car shows, exhibitions, parades and related events. We drive it to car-club meetings, local and regional car shows, and the like. This includes a recent 6-day road trip cruise to Amelia Island, Florida (about 900 miles round-trip), and trip to Sebring Race Track (Sebring, Florida) for a car show (about 150 miles round trip). We always get "thumbs up" waves, horn-honks from 18-wheelers, and lots of admirers driving slowly past us on the highway taking photos! This car is solid enough to be your second car if that is your preference.
