1927 Ford RatRod Roadster
I'm selling my 1927 Ford Ratrod Roadster. I completed it March 2017 - so its a very fresh build, and now I'm ready to start again on a new project. I'll try and remember everything I put into this car, but I'm sure I'll forget something. This was my most expensive Ratrod build yet, I went the extra mile on all of the parts I put into this.
Real Steel 1927 Ford Body. It's essentially rustless - California Body. Custom slammed suspension and chassis used also from the 1927 Ford.
It has a semi-built Pace Performance SBC 350 putting out around 275HP and 400ft/lbs of torque which is a ton of power for this little guy. There is still about 8 months left on its 1.5 year warranty. He will lay rubber.
Its running triple Rochester Carbs on top with a Summit Racing vacuum advance distributor.MSD Digital 6AL Ignition Controllers.
It has a B&M Turbo 350 Street & Strip Race transmission. 3 Gears, if you hit 2/3.. you're flying.
Electric cooling fan on the radiator and a Jaz overflow tank. It runs COOL - I've put this guy through some hot/traffic conditions and he stays low even when in a stand still in 80+ degree weather.
GPS Speedo
Custom fabricated exhaust with mini internal mufflers - right now the noise level is around what a Harley would be. The mufflers also create the back pressure, increasing the horsepower and also preserving the engines life (a lot of guys run their rats open head - which is terrible for the motor).
NO EXPENSE SPARED - I even spent the extra money on copper exhaust gaskets..
It has front and rear turn signals, rear brake light/running light, and vintage head lights as well. They're all vintage except the front turn signals, they're stealth LED's that you can only see when you turn them on (try and find them in the pictures ;)
The tires are super fresh, I've only put about 100-150 miles on the car - so he's pretty mint all around - fluids and all.
It has two bomber seats - with a vintage (1920s-1930's) COPPER fire extinguisher as the center console.
GPS Speedo is digital and hidden from plain sight. Voltage, oil pressure, engine temp are all vintage style gauges. Fuel pressure gauge is down below.
The chrome hood is just a WRAP - if you don't like it, you can peel it off and its painted just like the rest of the body.
I'll be sending with it the battery tender for the Dry-Cell DYNA-BATT 12 volt battery.
There's easily $17,000+ in parts into this thing, and thats not labor - I have some receipts from work at custom shops like R&J Customs out of Highland park. $2400 into the trans alone. Not interested in your low ball offer. I don't need to sell it, I'm just starting another project so I'm getting my feet wet for when I need the cash flow.
I have a great shipping company I use for moving vehicles around - let me know if you need some help.
$500 non-refundable downpayment is required, so BE PREPARED TO PAY WHEN YOU PURCHASE THE RIDE.
