Description

You are bidding on a 1990 Ford Ranger XLT w/manual transmission. If the old farmer that I bought if from is to be believed, this vehicle had been used primarily to toil around his fields and that the 67,000 miles on it are all original. Full disclosure; I cannot vouch for that and neither does carfax. At any rate, the parts that I have changed since I've had the vehicle (starter, spark plugs and wires, exhaust etc...were, in fact, the parts that had been installed at the factory.
The Warts

I discovered by having the brakes serviced that the entire inner workings for the rear-passenger drum brakes are MIA. The parts that are missing are also required for the vehicle's park brake to work. I had to chock the wheels everywhere I went.

There is a noticeable dent just above the front bumper on the passenger's side.

There are noticeable signs of rust in a few spots along the bed.

The tailgate latch is inoperative and it remains in the closed position.

During the process of replacing the plugs and wires, I broke a vacuum line and have yet to replace it.

The truck has been sitting idle for over eight months. Seafoam has been added to the fuel that was in it.

The Good/Great

To a person inclined to restore this truck to its former glory the work is over 90% completed.

The interior is in excellent condition

Dash is in very good condition

Has original speakers and jack

New floor mats

New exhaust

New battery

New starter

New plugs and wires

much wear left on tires

Clear title
