Car description |
---|
This car is proof that thunderbirds don't really fly. This was a car that my son and I spent Last summer restoring, fixing up, and repainting. It was his daily driver until he hit a patch of ice on an S curve. Fortunately for him, he's fine, but the car didn't make it out without some scratches - lol.
First the good: It will move under its own power and has many new parts including belts, hoses, a/c compressor, alternator, radiator, fuel pump, exhaust, etc.
There are a TON of good parts forsomeone who isinto these cars, including a leather interior, and a crack free dash. Honestly, those crack free dashes are made of unobtanium, so that alone is worth $500.
The bad - while it will move under its own power, it's a little crumbly - I wouldn't try to drive it anywhere without doing some repair. Ithink it will load onto a trailer just fine.. I am listing this for $200, which is a steal if you're into these cars. I have a muchbetter 5speed listed, perhaps you could buy them both, and use this one for a spare!
Let me know if you have any questions. I'll respond quickly.
