This Baby needs TLC but will be worth it when done.
1948 Ford Super Deluxe Coupe
Original Engine and transmission.
So, I started this project about 3 yrs ago and I am almost done but I just cant spent any more time on it. Familiar story/. I will sell as is. Body was painted about 2 yrs ago. Acrylic enamel made to look almost like the original paint. Minor dings were repaired. Body is solid all around and floor. Motor: heads were done 3 yrs ago.. starts but does not stay running. Can not get gas to flow to carb. New gas tank. Needs a couple of water hoses going to radiator. Its possible it also needs one of the water pumps. Six (6) volt system. Electrical needs finishing.. new harness was installed by previous owner but only connected to start switch and ignition such that the car starts using ignition switch. Nothing else is connected to harness. Might need new clutch.. maybe brakes? and brake master. Small seam separation in a couple of places in the headliner which may be original or an old restoration. New upholstery/seat covers. Overall minor repairs to the person that knows.. but time consuming. I was told this was the original flat head V8 and head block number confirm it. It also has the original transmission. Suspension is solid, chassis is all undercoated. Must see. Make offer
