Car description

Hello, There are copious videos about the recent restoration of this car on YouTube at the channel: bobeaseshop. The car was mostly restored 10 years ago but has been given an upgrade over the past months. The top going down and up was posted just the other day. The restoration of the underside was completed just a few days ago. The car was aligned 500 miles ago and the front end was totally checked by a professional. The rear shocks were replaced a week or so ago as the old ones were causing some tire ware. The wire wheels and the radial tires have less than 1.000 miles on them. I have the rear wheel skirts and hardware but don't run them as the spinners are too close - some minor work and they'd fit. New dash pad, grab bar, vintage air and heat, AM/FM/iPod (that charges) digital radio, rebuilt window switches, new right front window raising motor, speedo head was changed before I got the car and it show 95,500+- miles but that is 3x over what it was. I did not want to ware out the speedo by rolling it. This was a Nevada car (I have a copy of the old title) and has no rust and no rust repair. The car was soda blasted to the OE primer and painted by a professional 10 years ago +-. All top hydros were replace, motor, hoses, modern relays also replaced. The only tool that was in the spare tire bay was the lug wrench but these days I would not suggest a tire to be changed on the side of the road. The block casting number suggest that it is a 427. The Edelbrock carb is electric choke. The transmission was rebuilt a few months after I got the car. I doubt I have driven the car 1,500 since I got it in Feb of 2007. The top is new and I've never put the plastic window up as I was told that one should never put the top down (on any car like this GM, Ford or whatever) with the rear glass up. I am not going to wash the car unless the buyer wants me to as shipping will just mess it up again. I have never washed the car as it has been kept garaged and I lightly use an automotive duster to get the pollen off. I have a friend that can bring you the car if you like. If you know this era of Ford you know the shifter detent can go into reverse. I have seen LTD's do this. There is ample examples of this. I fitted a new detent with the suggested screw head to keep this from happening but I suggest one never ever gets out of these cars with the motor running. The front seats have been recovered with leather and have new foam. An electric fuel pump is fitted to keep from grinding the starter if it has sat for a few days or more. The generator works fine. The clock is digital. I run 90 oct non eth and I never fill it and I change the fuel every six months. I have some 90 oct ready to put in when the car is ready to go. The gauge show empty but I don't know if it reads full, but it did when I tested it without the sender in the tank. I have never filled the tank as I put 5 gallons in at a time and try to run that down. The windscreen/shield was renewed and has the sun screen. The radio speaker is a duel in a 6x9 and sounds great - it will self tune and is easy to use. It is the OE radio but with new insides. I have the OE York AC compressor and other A/C parts if you want them. The gas tank and filler seal was renewed. I have a stack of receipts, the repair manual, body book and the wiring diagram book. There is more but I highly suggest you check out all the work on YouTube. If you have any question ask either on eBay or YouTube. If needed I'll make a video to answer your question(s) There must be 15 or 20 videos on this car so enjoy and Thank You! Bobby
