Car description |
---|
I believe this is a '66, though I'm not positive of the exact year. It has a 6 cylinder engine and a three speed manual transmission.
This car ran 10 years ago when it was parked in my driveway and hasn't been run since. I'd consider it a complete hunk of rust at this point but I know some car enthusiasts bring things back from the dead or can use parts.
My father bought this car in 1968 and drove it for a long time. 12 years ago he drove it from Kansas to North Carolina and gave it to me. It had a hole in the roof so I stuck it in under the car port for two years and only drove it a few times. It had a big hole in the top and the oil pan leaked.
10 years ago we drove it to our new house that did not have a car port so it sat in the driveway and turned into a rust bucket.
It is my property but I never titled it and I don't have the title and I don't plan to get one, so if you're planning on putting it back on the road you'll need to apply for a new title.
We have not attempted to start it but assume it won't. The breaks don't work, one tire won't hold air, the roof is rotted (though the mechanism worked the last time we used it ten years ago) the floors are rotted and I'm sure there are lots of other problems with it because it sat so long so this is sold as-is, where-is and you're going to need a trailer to move it. You're not going to buff this out and drive it to work on monday. Assume it's complete scrap and if it turns out different, great.
We're getting our house apprised soon and I want the rusting hunk out of the driveway. So make me an offer and come get it before Monday, it needs to be gone.
