Car description

This 1969 Mach 1 has been carefully restored and upgraded to a better driving experience and better performance. Engineis acompletely rebuilt NOM 351C, Magnafluxed, balanced, blueprinted, and professionally assembled. Features include 10:1 compression, and an Edelbrock performer cam and intake fed by a 750 cfm carb. Exhaust is through Hooker long-tube headers into dual Magnaflow exhausts. Keeping things cool is an aluminum radiator and dual electric fans. This car will run down the road or idle and stay cool (180 degree thermostat) on the hottest of days. MSD ignition system. Backing the engine is the numbers matching FMX automatic transmission that has been completely rebuilt with a shift kit added. The rear end is the original Ford 9-inch which has been rebuilt with 31 spline axles and a 3.55:1 ratio. The car features power steering and power disc brakes to make driving more pleasant.

The underside of the car is immaculate. All metal was correctly painted with red oxide. The front suspension, sway bars, and rear end are black powder coated. The car was solid to begin with but the torque boxes and inner fenders were replaced. The springs and sway barswere also replaced with Mustang GT components and solid bushings for better handling. And of course new shocks all around. New 20 gallon fuel tank. New stainless brake lines. American Torque Thrust 17" wheels with like new R245-45 Z-rated tires all around.

This has the desirable folding rear seat. The interior is in great shape with a new headliner and dash pad. The sun visors were never reinstalled but I have them and they're in good condition. Naturally with any restoration there are a few odds and ends parts that were replaced; they will all come with the car.

This car has been restored top to bottom, inside and out. There is NO RUST and NO DAMAGE of any sort whatsoever. I've owned the car for about seven years and it is well-sorted, runs and drives great, and really gets attention! It has NEVER been wet since complete restoration and has never even been washed. I keep it covered, clean, and dry...always. I might have 1,000 miles on it since completion.

If you're in the market for a fun cruiser that will undoubtedly hold its value while you own it this may be the car for you.

I've set a very modest reserve so bid with confidence; someone will own this car at the end of the auction. Title is clear and in my possession.

Thanks for looking and good luck.

On May-01-17 at 17:19:00 PDT, seller added the following information:

Ihad a question about my 0 feedback rating. I've bought and sold many large ticket items (boat, cars, etc.) over the years with 100% positive feedback under the user name madisonhadley. I have not used eBay for about 10 years and when I listed this item nothing I tried for passwords worked, and my old email was no longer valid. I assume eBay deletes accounts after a period of inactivity.

Also, a couple interested parties have asked if they win the bid (they'd need to bid first!) if they can come over and inspect the car before payment. This is an auction to buy, not an auction to have first right of refusal. The winning bidder is responsible for due diligence before bidding and is expected to pay in full before the car is moved off my premises. The car is winterized and still in storage and will not be pulled out until funds have cleared my bank at which time the title will be signed over and car released. I will be happy to help arrange shipping as needed. I travel on business and will not be in town until a couple days after the bid is finished, which is why the car is not for sale locally.

I appreciate everyone's interest. Good luck!
