Selling my 79 Ford truck which I have owned since 1990. The tailgate was replaced in 1992 and the engine was replaced in 1997. Has been sitting under a carport for most of the last twelve years. It was driven occasionally to keep it running. In Oct. 2014, I had the transmission rebuilt due to some slipping. Since then, it has just been sitting and was not started during that time. When it was started a few days ago, I noticed the harmonic balancer has a vibration. The rubber has probably dry rotted and maybe separated. Engine starts right up, but can't be driven on road. Can be started and driven on trailer for hauling. I'm selling this more as a restoration project, than a daily driver, given its present condition. I'm sure it will need to be gone through completely because of its age. There are rust areas throughout the body as seen in photos. All photos were taken on April 31st. This was and can again be a great looking short bed pick-up when restored, but I have no desire to do this myself. It's being sold in AS-IS condition with no guarantees of any kind.
