1949 Ford Tudor Sedan- Clear title in hand. - Original flat head V8. manual 3 speed on the column with factory overdrive. 63. 79 miles. This 1949 starts right up and drives. It was last registered in 2010. - Original 6 volt wiring system. Lights and all engine electrics work. The original cloth wiring insulation is shot and there is a slow battery drain somewhere. Wiring should be replaced. - Original seats and door panels (not shown). Seat frames and springs are all good. but the interior needs upholstery. - Body and frame are in good condition. Usual rust through in spare tire well. in passenger floor under heater core. and a small hole behind the driver side seat. There are also a couple of small holes in the inner rockers. The previous owner drove the car for a while and patched all of the rust holes with screw or pop rivet patches so they are easy to find and repair properly. The car was originally undercoated so the floors and rockers are otherwise solid and repairable. - Paint and glass are all original as far as I can tell. - The hood is not the original hood and needs some body work. It might be easier to replace it. - Most of the trim is there and I have some extra trim pieces. Bumpers need chrome and some grille pieces need replacement. Overall. the body is straight and in very good condition. This is one of the more popular cars in the hobby and body and trim pieces are readily available.
