This is a restored, numbers matching, rust freeMustang, and islisted inthe California Special registry.The body was stripped to bare metal and painted Highland Green (Base coat/Clear coat). The original numbers matching 289 engine was overhauled, bored .040 over,upgraded cam, Edelbrock 4BBL Intake& carburetor with electric choke, and Pertronix Ignition. New radiator, new wiring, new chrome, new 15" chrome wheels & Michelin tires. The interior was completely replaced & upgraded to the Deluxe woodgrain option including upper & lower Consoles. The suspension was redone, using factory specs & alignment. The floorpans, frame, torque boxes, and cowls are all rust free.In addition I added the 22 gallon gas tank, installed a metal shield behind the rear seat, installed an Export Brace & Monte Carlo Bar, giving the unibody added rigidity. The Air conditioning was upgraded to the new Rotary compressor & 134 Freon, witha new AC/Heat Control Panel.The windshield (tinted)was replaced as well as all window seals- front, rear, and sides.Subtle modifications include: Mini tach in place of the clock, Ammeter converted to Voltmeter, period correct AM/FM radio, dual outside mirrors, LED tail light bulbs, Solid state voltage regulator, trunk carpet, custom dash plaque, and floor mats.This is a Done, high dollar restoration for the person looking for a quality car meant for 'Show and Go'.
