Car description |
---|
This car has been in my storage unit for the last 15 years. It was originally designed to be a Pro-Street Show Drag Car. The 12 point full roll cage was built by Wille Rells Sr. (built Pat Musi's frames) and also fabricated a custom front end "K member" for a big block 460 with custom double A arm suspension with coil overs and rack and pinion (would also accept modern modular motor). The brakes are adapted Granada brakes. The suspension has some rust and will need to be cleaned and painted or powder coated. The car has no rear end and is on casters. The car was plastic media blasted at "Hot Rods and Custom Stuff" in Escondido, CA after the rear quarter panels and outer wheel houses were replaced at Magnolia Autobody in Santee,CA and then the whole body was sprayed in DP90 epoxy primer. All of this work was done in the late 90's and has been in storage ever since. There are no fenders or hood for the car. I also have all the receipts for body and roll cage work. Car is sold as is. I have the clean title (Oregon). The car is not complete and needs many parts to complete. A comparable Dynacorn chassis runs $18,000 and will not be a Mach I...
Pictures show the progress of the cage and suspension work and then to the body shop. The final state of the car is after the black DP90 primer was sprayed.
This is the perfect candidate for restoration or race vehicle, just buy a rusty donor and move all the parts over!
Thanks for looking!
