Car description

1964 Ford Galaxie 500 Two Door Hardtop Fastback. This is an original, number matching, car with the original 390 Cubic Inch Four Barrel engine and dual exhausts. It runs and drives. All of the glass is good. All of the windows roll up and down properly. This is a dry western car with no rust. It has one repaint in the original color. It is accident free and all of the doors, hood, and trunk lid open and close properly. It has early Stewart/Warner gauges and the oil pressure is excellent. Please look closely at all of the photos. I have a clear title in my name. I will gladly assist the shipper you select to ship the car anywhere in the world. The car has been in covered storage since 1983. The car was purchased in an estate sale. The actual mileage is 111235. The odometer has turned over once. This is a very nice, original, 1964 Ford Galaxie with the original 390 4V engine. At the same time, I want the new owner to know, in detail, all of the negative issues. 1. The paint is thin and were there are minor dings, surface rust is there. There are no rust holes or any serious rust issues. The rocker panels and rear fender wells are dry and in good shape. 2. The transmission shift selector needs to be adjusted or replaced. 3. The tires are old and should be replaced. They are too old to trust on a long trip. 4. There is a small split in the dash pad. It is not serious, but it is a crack. 5. The centerrearview mirror that is glued to the windshield is in the truck and needs to bere-glued. 6. The car starts easily, doesn't smoke, or make any unusual sounds. It runs, drives, and stops, but I would not risk driving it a long distance because it has been unused for 34 years, and needs to be thoroughly checked out before undertaking a long trip. I have driven the car on short trips without any problems.
