Car description |

For sale is a pair of 1970 Bronco's, that were originally the same color (maroon). They are both 302ci V8 3-speed 4X4's wagons. The tan (yellowish) colored Bronco does not have a motor in it but is complete otherwise, the blue one is complete with its original 302 engine but is missing the rear seat, drivers side quarter panel, and rear hatch glass.
The tan one has a clean/clear NY State transferable registration (title) in my name and is definitely a restorable truck. It sat in a barn for the last 15 years. It has rust in the normal areas but is not as bad as most unrestored Bronco's I've seen. The rear ¼'s are uncut and in good shape. The interior is complete and in good shape, the front seats need to be recovered but the rear should clean up really nice...the headliner is pretty decent as well. It has a James Duff floor shifter and the original radio in the dash. The frame is pretty good overall but does have a couple spots in the rear where it rusted through (around shock mounts, overload bumper brackets, and DS rear bumper mount). I was planning to patch these areas up with sections from the blue Bronco's frame (you could easily make a nice frame out of the two). Other than the motor this is a very complete and original Bronco (trans, radiator, drive shafts, etc. are all there).
The blue one will come with the bill of sale I got from the previous owner and is probably a "parts truck" at this point (very rusty). It has a plow set up on it but no blade or controls. The brakes work and it was running a little over a year ago. The interior is mostly there and it has the original 3 on the tree in working condition. It also has the rare luggage rack on the roof and a bunch of extra parts in the back including an aftermarket passengers side fender, speedometer, front drum/hub assembly, etc. The slotted aluminum wheel in the pictures is not included in the sale (it was just used to move it), it will come with the 4thoriginal 15" steel wheel and a tire that holds air. The hub caps have been removed as well.
These would make a great project for somebody to put together a nice early Bronco, and if I don't sell them that is what I plan to do. These are getting hard to find in this condition, and can bring big money when restored. If you're interested in making an offer email me your contact info, and we'll see if we can work something out. May consider trades for a nice 73-79 Ford truck and/or parts.
