With a small market here on the island of Vieques, I'm hoping to get a reasonable price on my 1974 Bronco. The sales price includes free shipping (in a container, not open air) to Jacksonville, FL or to Pennsauken New Jersey for $400 more; and on the off chance someone wants to pay to have it shipped elsewhere, I'll credit the shipping amount to Jacksonville and deliver it to the port in San Juan to the transport company of your choice. I can also give you the names of vehicle transport companies that will handle shipping to your door in the States after I drop it off in San Juan.
302 V8, 3spd, with floor shift conversion. Clear title in my name. Far from perfect, and while I drive it regularly here, it would take some work to be a regular driver most places in the States. Note: title lists this as a 1974 while an online VIN chart states that it is a 1975 model built in Oct 1974. U153 code on ID plate with GVW of 4450, so I assume this was originally a Sport or Ranger model with some sort of upgrade over the standard wagon/4300 GVW.
The good: Engine runs well, good compression, no smoke, doesn't diesel, no leaks. Recently rebuilt autocraft carburetor with newly installed manual choke. Starts right up every time and runs as should. Newer distributor, radiator, starter. All ground straps replaced, some new brake lines and hoses. Frame is solid. Uncut fenders and original wheels with four new tires. Comes with brand new white bikini top from Wild Horses 4x4.
The bad: steering is LOOSE and badly needs a new steering box. I wouldn't recommend the buyer drive the Bronco very far or at anything other than low speeds untiI the box is replaced. I also can't vouch for the power steering pump as it's been disconnected since I've owned it--I've been hoping to have enough spare cash at some point for a new power steering kit as they aren't a whole lot more than a new steering box alone. There's a fair amount of rust on the panels; hood has a lot of rust and is rusted through in one spot; bottom right of windshield frame is rusted out and needs to be repaired; tub is solid; tailgate opens/closes/latches. No roof, no doors--hopefully this shortcoming will make for a nice roadster setup in Florida or similar locale. It has a hurst indy shifter that can be finicky getting between sides of the gear box--e.g. between 1st (left side) and 2nd (right side) or from 2nd or 3rd to first. Takes a little getting used to or possibly adjusting the linkages would make it more straightforward. Gauges are disconnected or otherwise not working. No windshield wipers and headlights/turn signalsare disconnected and waiting on new retainer buckets.
