Car description |
---|
This is a genuine Ford F100 Ranger XLT, that came with the several great options that are rare for the day. It is currently registered, insured and drives great. The paint is called mallard green with Wimbledonwhite. It comes with the original black California plates and the original dealer license plate frames on both the front and back.
Call it a gentleman's truck. Or, call it the foreman's truck.
This was bought new from Billingsley Ford in Porterville, California (currently Porterville Ford).
The truck maintains most all of it's original equipment, but the carpet was swapped out. The bench seat fabric is aftermarket as well. I have the original steering wheel and valve covers that came with the truck. The gentleman who I bought this from was a large man and had to put a smaller steering wheel on it. The aftermarket steering wheel is squeaky and you might hear it in the video. Otherwise, the power steering pump sometimes makes noise on cold mornings. Unfortunately, the AC is not in working order, but everything is there. I just never needed it here in So Cal.
I love this truck, but I had my fun with it. I drive it every day to work, which is 1-mile from my house. I more more compliments on this truck than any other classic car I've had.
I'll let the video show you the rest. Have fun!
