Car description

I am 90 % finished with this custom T Bucket. I'm posting this as either a project car near completion.I started with a brand new built Spirit T Bucket with a small 302 stock motor. I didn't like the weak motor so I tore the car down to bare bones and went crazy with the new build.
First I stuck a brand new (never seen oil or gas yet), Cobra 408 Cubic Inch stroker putting out 505 hp. I put a new (never seen gas) 750 factory coated Quick Fuel Diamond series carb. A brand new high volume electric fuel system to feed this monster.
I just installed an Edlebrock high volume water pump. This is all hooked up to a fresh rebuilt C4 transmission with a new 3,000 stall converter and an added transmission cooler.Behind that is a 4 link coil over suspension which is the best but you won't keep 500 horsepower on the ground so be very careful.
Car only weighs 1,900 pounds so you can just imagine what it takes to control 500 hp with that little weight. All controlled by ones right foot. This car will have incredible possibilities and win every show it's entered but it will require a mature driver that knows what the outcome will be if you don't respect this much power.Set up is cooled by a new 4 core Champion aluminum radiator with custom made cowl with rivet facing. Air cooled by 185 degree electric puller fan.
Tires have NOT been on the ground yet. I ordered a custom set of Vision mags all the way around. Back tires are huge and expensive. $660.00 for the two of them.Front end has awesome new Wildwood disc brakes. You can still see the factory cut on the discs. Rears are GM disc for stopping this monster.Behind the motor is a one off custom powder coated diamond plate (not cheesy painted!) firewall I made for this car.
Gauges are all new which are mounted in a custom black wash dash I made which is ready to install. Custom push button start with new back lit toggle power and light switches.Steering is tilt for easier in and out. Some things you can't see yet are the custom coated (not your typical coated headers either) special plated semi-gloss ceramic headers
Front headlights are also custom powder.. (I don't have pictures of those yet but are ready to install) They will sit on polished aluminum stanchions with custom wires looms all from Speedway. On each side of the body will be a true Ford step plate for easier and safer entry also custom powder coated tomatch the red/black theme.
Windshield struts are also coated but not installed until engine is finished.Windshield is custom cut for maximum visibility and wind protection and powder coated frame and supports also done by my friends at F1.
I have about a week of wrenching to get this car ready for the paint shop. Then some premium unleaded (yes, she runs on pump gas), some Purple break in oil and some really good ear muffs.I've been playing with this insane build for a year now. Wife says she wants her garage back or I start sleeping in the car.
I have $30,000 in parts right now Engine alone is $8,000.00. Transmission and read end are another $3,000.00.Tires and rims cost $2,000.00. Half of what I'm asking is in those 4 items alone. The only thing missing is the upholstery upgrade. All the upholstery is included.. Seat, side panels and back. I started to bolster the sides but I'm learning upholstery is not my thing.99% of everything needed for this car is sitting in my garage. Oil, plugs also ready. The front custom radiator cowl has not been painted and the back side of the rear bed (box) needs painted from where I changed to the replica oil lamp style tail lights. If you want to own and insanely nice T Bucket. She's here waiting on you. Most of these style cars are not near this quality. This one is a whole different world. People will know you are coming from 10 blocks away. Who is crazy enough to have 500 horsepower in a car weighing less than 2,000 lbs?I will continue to work on this car throughout the auction. I really want to get the chance to hear this huge motor fire up but I need the money for another project I;m working on.Title is clear and ready to transfer.Buyer responsible for all shipping costs.Email with any questions.

If you price the unpainted frame and unfinished body, those 2 parts to this build at Spirit are $13,600 and you still have paint/powder coating to add to that. I finished the steering and fuel lines and will work on the dash this weekend.
