As we all know 1967 was a banner year for the Ford Mustang.

A good deal of enthusiast argue that it was the best and final “true pony car”.

This beautiful vintage Mustang helps give some credence to their argument & backs up their assertions!

The 1967 Mustang that you see pictured here is a Ford Fan Favorite!

It is my pleasure to present this wonderful investment grade vehicle to the next potential lucky owner & the Ebay community abroad.

Over the next few moments I will attempt to give a brief description regarding the cars history, condition & drivability.

This incredible Ford was purchased in the spring of 1967 by a gentleman from Phoenix Arizona.

It was delivered to Chapman Ford in his home state.

By all accounts he was a true Mustang fan & enthusiast. After he ventured into the dealership and bought the car he used it primarily as a daily driver to commute back and forth to work. The ebb and flow would stay the same over the next few years of ownership.

That all changed sometime 1978 after his employer transferred him up North. Before heading to the Dakotas he decided to put it up for sale.

The car was subsequently sold to a family in Southern Illinois. The second owners also had a 1970 Mustang that was seen regularly staged in local circles. It seems that the Mustangs original condition was kept to form and remained unmolested.

As time progressed the car would eventually end up in hands of the son several years later. He was known for treating the vehicle as a family member and actually got stuck with the nick name “Mustang Ramon”!

After spending a great deal of time tucked away in the garage he decided to take on a full blown restoration.

One of the first things that he was inspired to do was to have the original (T- Code Red) exterior brought back to its original days of glory.

He appointed a well known shop in his town to complete this task. The company had earned a reputation for being a premier leader in high end restorations for over 20 years.

After coming to terms with the shop owner they agreed to do the work. Since the vehicle had never been involved in a collision of any sort minimal body work was needed.

The original lacquer paint was stripped and the body was properly prepped for the new makeover.

The paint on the car shines at any given time of day and is almost blinding when the suns out! The base coat clear coat method was used to administer the material to the body panels so the exterior has a smooth surface!

It is rather easy to see why people at every turn are either questioning you about it or tipping their cap!

Really a fun car & an incredible conversation piece!

At any rate the Candy Apple Red exterior looks incredible & presents itself very well! The foundation of this vintage Ford is solid and the panels appear to be original (nice contour).

The gaps & lines are close in step with factory manufacturing specifications.

After the paint work was completed all of the appointed chrome & or stainless was either replaced or refurbished.

Some of the chrome / stainless moldings were simply refurbished to keep the car original where it counted!

The hallmark signature running ponies on each side was replaced with M.C.A. approved emblems!

All of the bright work displaying the name was refurbished as well.

Displaying pony pride is a breeze when onlookers are focusing on the shiny new Mustang gas cap located on the rear of the car!

Reminding folks of the good ole days on route 66 is also a cinch, thanks in part to a pristine classic chrome Mustang mirror!

The factory side markers & other signals have stood the test of time!

With just a flick of the switch the fog light and head lights jump into action.

You can also expect to see clearly as this pony has excellent glass throughout.

This beauty also has a sharp off white quality top that provides excellent contrast!

An aggressive set of brilliant white side stripes have been added to the rocker panels that really set this one apart!

Now that we have talked about this phenomenal Mustangs exterior lets discuss what she has to offer inside.

Upon opening the door of this 67 you will find a very inviting interior!

The interiors contrast against the red exterior is simply breathtaking!

The (2 U code) soft Palimino white upholstery throughout this Mustang is in excellent condition!

The seat covers were recently replaced (approximately three months after the exterior restoration). The covers are absolutely stunning (front & rear).

When the interior restoration was underway the shop also restored the factory Ford sanctioned door panels! New Mustang hardware was attached to ensure stability “looks terrific”! The cockpit area of this vehicle takes you back to a time when cars were created with character!

The dash pad is in excellent shape & all of the gauges are functioning properly (rare)!

The remainder of the interior was restored ala cart over the next year or so.

A high quality headliner was installed by in Baden Missouri to keep things up to snuff!

You won’t find a classic Mustang that has a more user friendly & comfortable interior than this one has!

No stone was left unturned to make sure that this cars interior was ready for prime time!

Under your feet you will find nice carpet from front to rear! The carpet is comprised of a high grade durable material that was built to handle harsh weather (loop pile)! Also joining in the fight to help protect this Mustang from the elements is a stellar set of custom Flame Red Running Pony Floor mats!

Taking it out of the garage for any excursion is a treat!

There was a great effort made to make sure this Mustang had a modern feel to it while simultaneously maintaining its original appearance (supporting cushions, padding, etc).

You will notice a definite difference from the moment you sit inside!

The inner quarter trim and rear surrounding upholstery also looks great!

Right front and center for your driving pleasure is a wonderfully adorned factory Ford steering wheel for you to grip (yes the horn works)!

There’s also a center pony embossed icon that rest in the middle of the wheel to always remind you and others of who started it all!

Luxury upgrades were in order on this Mustang so a top notch console was installed. It looks incredible and adds just the right touch inside!

The interior lights are still shining bright & so are the dash lights.

Before exiting the car you will find a set of logo stamped factory Ford sill plates at ground level!

Again this Mustang has it all! It is a perfect car for the individual who has been waiting to get into the game for the first time or a great piece to add to your collection!

When the mercury makes the temperature unbearable in the upcoming months you will have the option of turning on the A/C if you’re riding in this pony!

Now that I have given several reasons why you should love this Ford…… Let’s talk about yet why a few Chevy guys hate it!

No Mustang can truly be considered a muscle car without having a factory V/8!

The heart and soul of this horse is its STOUT factory 289 engine. The factory engine block has only been driven a tender 59000! Since it has lived a sheltered life the engine block is incredibly strong!

Horse power & Torque ratio values are optimal!

The original intake has received new gaskets and there was also a new carburetor installed.

A set of new chrome valve covers were installed along with a new oil filler cap.

SHE’S DEPENDABLE AND A STRONG RUNNER!!!!

This V/8 motor has plenty of giddy up and accelerates with ease!

Preventative maintenance has not been overlooked either.

The car has recently had new plugs, wires, thermostat, fuel pump, battery, hoses, belts, starter and just too much more too list!!!

The muscle car theme is played out each and every time you decide to mash the throttle thanks in part to the chambered dual exhaust system!

Although the car can be considered a cruiser there’s plenty of power on tap!

It turns over with just a flick of the key at the slightest touch “truly a thrilling ride”!

LET’S LISTEN TO HER RUMBLE!!!

The performance mufflers have just the right tone (not obnoxious)!

The experience that you will have driving it is a pleasurable one. You’ll never want to return to the garage!

This Mustang can be cruised with confidence!

There is also a fairly new radiator installed that helps keep it cool under the hood!

Powering steering makes this Mustang a cinch to drive.

It’s had the brake system totally gone through (clean bill of health) as well.

To top things off there is an excellent set flawless 17 inch Torque Thrust style Rally wheels installed on this Ford!!! This Classic pony “stops traffic”!
