This is a rustfree original Henry steel 3 window coupe that was painted and interior installed over 55 years ago. It is a great example of a survivor car. It originally came from California and has only had myself and one other owner in the last 50 years..We think the car was painted blue and the new sparkly interior installed between 1958 and 1962. The old paint is not perfect and has a couple of dings and many scratches but I could never bring myself to repaint it because of it's history. The interior has no rips and still looks nice. When I got the car about 9 years ago we freshened up the engine with a new mercury 4" crank and isky type cam, new bearing, rings and gaskets with a valve job etc. We rebuilt the 97 strombergs but kept the vintage offenhauser manifold and edelbrock heads...we added a new clutch and flywheel, headers and new exhaust. 12 volt system and we rebuilt the 48 Ford juice brakes and freshened up the 3 speed tranny added a new dropped front axle and wide white radials. The car has a rumble seat and roll down rear window, and also an inline Borg Warner overdrive unit from back in the day...The car runs down the road at highway speeds and stops good. I hate to see it go but I am down sizing my collection. Give me a call or e-mail with any other questions..We will be adding a video in the next few days....thanks Mike
