Hello,
Please read the entire ad before bidding.
Up for auction is my 1976 Ford Gran Torino. This is not one of the 1,000 limited edition produced by Ford in 1976....but it is a very very cool car.
I have owned the car for about ten years and I have come to the conclusion that it sits more than I have a chance to enjoy it.
The car has a 351W....it has a new four BBL intake and brand new 4BBL Holly carb. It has new valve trains, a new starter, new wires, new plugs, new distributer cap and rotor, chrome valve covers, battery, and chrome air intake. The car runs amazing and the transmission shifts just like it should......
I believe the red paint on the car is the original paint...as a result there is fading in some areas and there are multiple scratches from 40 years of use. There is also some small rust areas wear the paint has faded away.
The floor has some rust areas....a quick patch was done....is a few spots...nothing fancy, but they are functional.
The main issue with the car is the drivers side....the rear quarter panel has damage from the previous owner losing the driver's side rear tire. As a result, the rear quarter experienced some damage, the driver's side door has a dent and the front driver's side fender has some dents. I have a replacement front fender that is in great condition currently in primer that will come with the car. The rear quarter is available on Ebay for about $170.00 plus shipping.
The car currently has a single stock exhaust....it really needs to a dual exhaust with some throaty mufflers.
The matching passenger bucket seat is included with the car....it is much better shape than that driver's seat.
The car is not perfect.......and has a minor leak or two....one of them I believe is transmission fluid.
The car has a clear green Michigan title with 98,900 miles.
The lights works....the turn signals are not currently working and either is the gas gauge. The car is a 1976...it has some scratches and faded paint.....it's not perfect.
The shipping cost is the responsibility of the buyer.
As far as the payment...I will only accept cash or a money transfer....no checks or PayPal.
Please ask any questions...I will do my best to answer them.
This is a no reserve auction...happy bidding. I also reserve the right to end the listing at any time...the car is being sold locally as well.
Thank you for looking....
