1932 Ford Phaeton 4-Door Touring Convertible This 1932 Ford Phaeton has a stately presence with a very desirable and rare body style. This elegant old Ford just came out of long-term heated storage. To the best of our knowledge, this car was restored in the early ‘80s when acquiring the correct 32 Ford parts was more accessible. And it’s been in heated storage ever since. The restoration was meticulous with a lot of attention paid to detail. To the best of our knowledge everything about this car appears to be correct, from the air cleaner to the aluminum oil pan, right down to the screw-on valve stems. This car runs whisper quiet as you would expect. The engine is a Ford Flathead V8 coupled to a 3-speed manual transmission. From 5 feet away the paint looks perfect. However, the paint has developed cracking in the lacquer in various places, but does not detract from the overall elegance and beauty. The metal body is free of rust and dents. Underneath the car is also solid with only minor surface rust in various places. Please see pictures. The interior is in nearly perfect condition with no rips or tears in the upholstery or carpet. Very clean! The convertible top is also in excellent condition. The top boot is included, but we do not have the side curtains, which are commercially available. Options include: Luggage rack, window wings, and locking spare tire. Clear Wisconsin title. Odometer reads: 949 Not original miles. Sold as is. No warranty.
