1936 Ford 3 window X- New-Englandmodified race car,1936 ford coupe title, all steel, but it is an x -race car. Been in competitionand beat over the years, doors open and close, lift off hood and trunk, new cowl, firewall floors transmission tunnel, cowl bottoms, door bottoms, quarter bottoms, this car has earned its place in hot roding.Color is 2016 Ford impact blue with satin clear, rememberthis is an x- racecar body and paint is not perfect.
Frame is 1955 Chevrolet, has Camaro clip with weight jacks, tube type upper control arms with ball joint relocated for caster gain. Spindles and front brakes are 1/2 ton Chevrolet truck, rear end is 1982 Camaro with 3.42 gear and positraction, stock rear disc brakes. Brakes are controlled by dual tilton master cylinders with remote driver bias adjustment. Car is rock stable at hi-way speed, handles and stops great. Gives driver very confident feeling
Interior is bare minimum, seats are adjustable by Rotten Leonard with 3'' seat belts plentyof leg room. Floor is rubber mat covered over new steel, with removable steering wheel. Dash is factory 1936 with mechanical gauges, water temp, oil pressure, tachometer, fuel level, speedometer, speedo not hooked up. Has full roll cage still with front and rear clips, good size storage area behind seats. all painted machinery gray. Windshield is new safetyglass, back window is tempered glass. Removable side windows are lexan.
Engine is a stock 283 with factory 4- barrelintake. Has Holley600 carb with Nicson spark arresterfilter, Hei distributor, rams horn exhaust manifoldswith cherry bomb mufflers. Outside exhaust, aluminum radiator with corvette surge tank. This bleeds out air on start up. Thermostat controlledspall fan runs cool at 170. Power steering and 80 amp alternator, transmission is Muncie 4 speed,with hydraulic clutch and hurst shifter. Has removable cross-memberwith exhaustrunning through it like 1960s corvette. Wheels and tires are brand new. Front Cragar pro-street 15x8 rear Cragar pro-street. 15x10 tires are BFG t/a radials trunk has 18 gallon aluminum fuel tank. Frame mounted battery and fire extinguisher. Wiring is all top quality with fuse box and relays mounted inside firewall. This is no trailer queen, more like a ww2 aircraft. It handles,stops and runs up the hi-way stable as a rock. Built dependable, no squeaksor rattles.
